Our Story
Joan’s Barra Pizza was opened on the 15th of March 2019
Before this, Joan spent her years cooking in the hotel industry. She then decided it was time for a change, time to balance family life and work life and so she took her hand to Pizza.
Previous ‘Barra Pizza’ owners Susan and Alistair were giving up the brilliant ‘Barra Pizza’ and therefore an opportunity arose. They spent a couple of weeks training Joan and Maria up in pizza making and it didn’t take long to master.
Our dough, garlic bread and Ice cream are all home made from scratch, we input every single ingredient ourselves.
Each and every pizza is, rolled - stretched and topped to order, creating artisan pizza everytime. So, although our pizza’s may not always turn out to be the perfect round shape, you can bet that it is as fresh as you can get.
